I was concerned the fit would be too small, but no need. Large enough for a woman from bridge of nose to bottom of chin. Definitely is double layer of silk. Crease from packaging that I will steam out. Perfect for special occasion. Small opening on one side to push a small filter into. I am going to order more in different colors. Shipping was quicker than I expected!

I actually make masks and have finished hundreds of them. However, I do not have any silk and had not tried to sew with this material. It is very thin and light, as well as soft. I could easily wear mine all day! If you wear glasses, you can request that the mask come with a nose wire.I did do the candle test and the flame did not go out! Excellent product and customer service is fantastic. You will not regret this purchase!

I absolutely LOVE this face mask - it feels great on the skin, has a great fit, is easy to breathe through, plus adds a bit of extra protection due to it being made of silk.Will buy more and give them as gifts.

I have mixed feelings about this mask, therefore put 3 stars- in the middle. From the plus-points: silk feels great on the skin. The mask is very light too, no weight on ears. Minus-points: because silk is so light, when breathing hard (when walking fast; in the enclosed spaces like elevator), the fabrique goes into the nostrils. I live in a hot and humid climate, and it gets hot under the mask very quickly, with moisture adding up under the mask. I also tried to put a regular size carbon filter, and it didn’t work well. First, the hole is very small- you need to fold filter and be very careful when inserting it. Second, there is no designated filter pocket, so a regular size filter just moves around and it’s not nice at all. Third, to wash the mask, you again need to remove the filter through this very small hole. I did it only once, and I also got a lot of threads when I removed the filter. On the positive side- it’s easy to wash in the sink, and it dries overnight. Overall, I use this mask quite often.

I wear a mask anywhere between 6-9 hours a day for work, over the summer I started to notice a super bad rash/acne/maskne problem with my sensitive skin. I started breaking out really bad even after using different masks. After seeing a dermatologist and switching my mask to this one it’s been soooo much better on my face. It’s soft and doesn’t irritate my skin. It’s very comfortable and doesn’t slide down my face or go into my mouth when trying to breath. I hand wash it with a gentle detergent and hang dry it, I didn’t even have to iron it. Well worth the money and highly recommended for people wanting a durable, comfortable face mask.

I bought three of these silk masks. They are very lightweight. The silk doesn’t irritate my skin and the adjustable ear loops are super comfortable. I wore these for 12 hours at a time with no issues.The opening to the pocket for inserting the filter is a bit small but it works if you fold the filter and then flatten once it is inside.The mask fully covers and does not slip down from my nose.I received compliments while wearing these masks.

I love these masks. I read a comment saying that it was not stitched on both sides and this is done so you can place a filter in it, if you so desire. Putting a filter on helps to stop the feeling that your sucking in the cloth while you breathe. I wear my mask for 6+ hours a day and this is what I wear. I suffer from rosacea and this definitely helped my skin. This product was delivered to me within a week of ordering.

This is the perfect silk mask! Fits well, great craftsmanship, comfortable, stylish and 100% silk. The seller was so sweet to include a personal note with instructions for washing and sent well wishes. They also customized my order upon request. I will definitely buy more of these. Highly recommend.

There’s no nose wire in the mask. Even though the quality is good and it is finely stitched, it doesn’t serve the purpose of protecting against the virus. The entrance to Filter pocket is also a bit small to accommodate the filter. Filter has to be folded to be inserted into the mask.Edit: The seller contacted me after I gave my feedback and offered a full refund/ replacement product with pocket and a nose wire which shows excellent customer service and a commitment to improve the product. Five stars for customer service.

I sought out a silk face mask specifically due to maskne/skin irritations wearing a face mask at work for 9-10 hours in a row.Pros: lightweight, easily adjustable ear loop, comfortable fabric that stays mostly cool due to the nature of silk, big enough to actually cover what it needs to cover. CDC says silk is okay-still far from medical- but I work in a fairly large open office space where I just need to wear a cloth mask all day. It definitely is much easier on my skin then any of my other fabric masks.Cons:There’s almost no structure. I’m on the phone a lot so when I am talking, I sometimes breathe the mask in. Compared to other silk masks I have tried, this one does this the least, but sometimes this is annoying when I’m on the phone.The price of the mask changes almost everyday. After I purchased a few silk masks, this was my favorite so I went to get a few more colors and the price was 3$ more than what I had paid a few days prior. It also goes back and forth being on prime shipping. These small inconsistencies have made me weary about purchasing any others.When hand washing the mask, regardless of how you wash and dry it, it’s wrinkled. I stretch the fabric out so it’s less wrinkled, but it dries fast and stays wrinkled no matter what I do. This is shown in my picture. Because of this, the seam in the middle wrinkles/puckers making the “sucking it into my mouth while talking” worse.The color is very different than what I expected. It’s a darker, dustier mauve-y purple compared to the brighter fuchsia that is pictured. I was disappointed but I don’t mind the color, and it’s just not what I was expecting- even though the description says dark purple.It also does not have a nose wire so it doesn’t stay completely against my face on top, which is not helpful if you need this for anything close contact.Overall, I like the mask and it works better on my skin than any other mask I own. It could use a few upgrades in regards to structure and consistency in pricing-I understand it may be hard to keep it in stock so shipping changes often, but it’s still an issue. The mask is worth purchasing if it’s on prime and in your budget, but don’t expect the structure of a cotton mask.

I have a very sensitive skin and any other masks would irritate my face. I absolutely love these masks. I ordered few so far and have been wearing them for months. My skin loves them!I was putting filters in at the beginning but then stopped as this mask is very thick. It is thick and comfortable at the same time. I highly recommend these masks and will buy few more colors. I’ve been receiving so many compliments as well :-)

I have very sensitive skin and constantly wearing masks did not help at all. I bought these silk masks and my skin irritation has significantly improved since wearing them! When I ordered I asked for customized masks because my face is small and the seller was so sweet and accommodating, they even gave me an extra mask (no charge!) because they had it in my small face size!! This mask is very thin, but it is beautiful, soft, and comfortable. I like that it has an adjustable, metal nose piece. It does have a slot for a filter, but I don't use it. This is not the mask I wear to the store because it is too thin without the filter. I wear it when I'm picking up a to-go order or at the drive-thru. Sometimes I will put it over a thicker mask to dress it up.
